Key Insights – Who Scored More Centuries in 2025?

Keacy Carty smashed one hundred each in the second and third ODIs against Ireland in May 2025. With that, he became the ninth West Indian batter to score centuries in two consecutive ODI innings.

Carty aggregated 170 in the third ODI, the joint sixth highest individual score for the West Indies in 50-over cricket.

Ryan Rickelton, the latest addition to the South African double centurions list, scored the first double century of this year. He accrued 259 runs against Pakistan in the first innings of the Cape Town Test. This is the joint sixth-highest individual score by a South African batter in Test cricket.

Brian Bennett entered the history books with his 139-run knock against England in the Nottingham Test. He became just the third Test centurion for Zimbabwe against England.

Before that, Bennett brought up his maiden hundred against Ireland in ODI cricket. He ended up with 169 runs, the fifth highest for Zimbabwe in an ODI innings.

In January, Josh Inglis became the 21st batter to score a century on Test debut. He smashed 102 off 94 against Sri Lanka in the Galle Test.
