Key Insights on Death Overs Economy Rates in IPL

Lasith Malinga has the lowest economy rate in the death overs in the IPL. He went at 7.82 while taking 90 wickets for 1196 runs off 917 balls in this phase.

Sunil Narine is the most economical spinner in the last four overs in the IPL, going at just under eight per over.

Jasprit Bumrah has the best economy rate among Indian bowlers in the IPL in this phase.

Pawan Negi has achieved the lowest economy rate in the death overs in an IPL season (minimum 24 balls bowled). He claimed seven wickets at an economy of just 4.25 off 24 balls in 2017 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
