#1 AB De Villiers in 64 Balls vs West Indies (2015)

In the 2015 Men’s Cricket World Cup, AB De Villiers has smashed 166* in just 66 balls against the Darren Sammy leading West Indies. He has damped the figure of 150 runs in 64 balls, including 8 fours & 17 sixes, with a booming strike rate of 245. Though he failed in getting it to the score of 200, this proved one of the most unbeatable knocks of the ultimate De Villiers. South Africa has made 408/5 in total, and in reply West Indies only succeeded in making 151 runs.

#2 Jos Buttler in 65 Balls vs Netherlands (2022)

In his second 150+ score in ODIs, Jos Buttler came into bat when the team scored 223/2 in the 30th over of England innings. The opener, Phil Salt, has already made a century, and the No. 3 batter, Dawid Malan, is on the verge of making one. Buttler then unleashed more attacks on the Netherlands bowlers when he struck 14 sixes and 7 fours. The English cricketer, who continued his orange-cap form from the previously held IPL season, reached his three-digit score in 47 deliveries, his and his team’s 2nd fastest century in ODIs. And further went on to get his 150 in 65 balls, which is one more than the fastest ever. The man of the match-winning knock ended at an unbeaten 70-balls 162 at the end of England’s innings.

#3 Jos Buttler in 76 Balls vs West Indies (2019)

Jos Buttler is the first man on the list after De Villiers to rip the bowling department of West Indies. In his first innings of 150 in ODIs, he crossed the streak at the stroke of the 76th delivery of his knock. He has hit 12 sixes and 13 fours in his innings and made runs at a brisk pace of 194.80. Later, as anticipated, England had won the game, and the ‘player of the match’ award went to the Jos Buttler.

#4 Heinrich Klaasen in 77 Balls vs Australia (2023)

Just before the World Cup campaign, the South African No.5 unleashed a spectacle against a top bowling attack of Australia in the home ODI game. The 4th of the 5 ODI series was played in Centurion. Walking in at No.5, Klaasen stitched a 200-run partnership with David Miller, who himself made a 45-ball 82, helping the Proteas finish their score at a mighty 416/5. #5 Shane Watson in 83 Balls vs Bangladesh (2011)

Shane Watson is the lone Aussie Batter on the list to score the knock of 150 runs with a rapid cruise. He has played a knock of 185 runs in 96 balls and mocked the Bangladesh team’s total of just 230 runs. He has broken the figure of 150 on the 83rd ball of his knock and hit 16 sixes and 15 fours in the total. And without a penny of doubt, the ‘player of the match’ award was given to him.
