When Chris Gayle completed his fifty in 17 balls against the Pune Warriors, he went on to hammer the IPL’s highest individual score175 not out. During his whirlwind knock, Gayle attained his hundred off 30 balls, which is the fastest ton in the league.

Jake Fraser-McGurk is the only player to complete multiple fifties in 15 or fewer balls for the same IPL team. The Australian batter took exactly 15 balls to reach the 50-run mark in 2 matches for the Delhi Capitals in 2024.

Suresh Raina’s 16-ball fifty is the fastest in an IPL Playoff match. The southpaw was playing for the Chennai Super Kings against Kings XI Punjab in the 2014 Qualifier 2.
