#8 Kenya vs India (1998)
During the 6th match of 1998 Coca-Cola Triangular series, Kenya upstaged the Indian side in their own backyard.
Kenya elected to bat first after winning the toss. Ravi Shah started off the Kenyan innings with blitz scoring 70 runs off 68 balls. After Ravi’s dismissal, Maurice Odumbe played a brilliant knock of 83 powering Kenya’s final score to 265/5.
Chasing 266, India caught in a spot of bother right from the start. Despite everyone getting starts, nobody could kick on and take the team over the line as the bowlers kept taking wickets at crucial junctures. Odumbe, yet again, starred for Kenya with 3 crucial wickets while Tikilo too picked up as many wickets. India crumbled to 196 all out as Kenya won the match by 69 runs.
Brief Scores: Kenya – 265/5 (50 overs) (Maurice Odumbe 83, Ravi Shah 70, Anil Kumble 2/27); India – 196 a/o (47.1 overs) (Rahul Dravid 33, Odumbe 3/14, Steve Tikolo 3/29)
Result: Kenya defeated India by 69 runs

#7 Kenya vs Sri Lanka (2003)
It’s Kenya again, but in this instance, the victim is the Sri Lankan team in 2003 Cricket World Cup.
