1: India’s Chetan Sharma became the first bowler to take a hat-trick in the ODI World Cup. He took 3 consecutive wickets against New Zealand in Nagpur in the 4th edition of the tournament.

Apart from Sharma, Mohammed Shami picked up 3 consecutive wickets against Afghanistan in the 2019 edition.
