2 – Sir Don Bradman is the only Australian batter to score more than one triple-century in Test cricket. He has three other scores of 250 plus in the longest format of the game.
There are 9 other scores of 250-plus posted by an Aussie batter and apart from Bradman (5 times), only Michael Clarke and Warner (twice each) have breached it more than once. Adam Voges (269*), Graham Yallop (268), Bill Ponsford (266), Justin Langer (250), and Kevin Walters (250) are the others to score 250 or more in an innings.
78 – The number of times an Aussie batter has smashed a double-century in Test cricket by 38 different players. Bradman has hit a Test double-century a whopping 12 times, while Ricky Ponting has done it 6 times.
380 – Matthew Hayden’s knock at Perth against Zimbabwe is the highest by an Aussie batter in Test cricket. He surpassed the long-standing record of Mark Taylor & Bradman (334 each) and Hayden’s tally is yet to be breached.
3 – Only Aussie batters, Hayden, Warner, and Clarke have made a triple-century since the start of this century. Surprisingly, Australia’s leading run-getter in Test, Ricky Ponting didn’t score a triple, and his highest Test score is 257.
