Key Insights
Marcus Stoinis has registered the highest individual score against CSK in the IPL. He scored an unbeaten 124 in 2024 to go past Virender Sehwag’s 10-year-old record.
Sanath Jayasuriya was the first batter to bring up a hundred against CSK. He scored 114 not out at a strike rate of 237.50 in 2008.
Thus far, 10 batters have scored a century each against Chennai in the league. CSK conceded two of those centuries in a single match. Gujarat Titans (GT) openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan scored their respective tons in a 2024 game.
Punjab Kings (PBKS), Delhi Capitals (DC), and Mumbai Indians (MI) are the other teams with two centurions each against CSK.
