245/5 achieved by Australia against New Zealand at Auckland in 2018 is the highest ever run chase T20 internationals. Moreover, 488 runs scored in the game is the 2nd highest aggregate in the shortest format as far as internationals are concerned.
230/8 scored by England against South Africa in a Super 10 World Cup match at Mumbai is the 3rd highest run chase in T20I history and the highest ever in the mega event. The 4th highest run chase also involved these sides as England once again successfully chased 226 against the Proteas, this time at Centurion.
The Netherlands, a non-Test-playing nation, is the only team to have made this list. They did so against Nepal earlier in 2021.
South Africa and West Indies have been on the receiving end thrice. Sri Lanka comes in next, having entered the list twice. Likewise, apart from England, India has made it to the top-10 successful run-chases on 2 occasions.
