Other notable winners in this list are Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Mustafizur Rahman, and Shubman Gill.

Interestingly, Chennai Super Kings, the franchise that has won the championship five times so far, hasn’t produced a single recipient of this award yet.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is the only team to have three players who have won the Emerging Player of the Year award. Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals (earlier Daredevils), Rajasthan Royals, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru are the other teams to have two Emerging Player award winners each.
