Ishant Sharma who went unsold in the recent IPL 2018 Auction, is playing now in county cricket in England. Playing for the team Sussex, the Indian pacer picks 5 wickets in the match by picking 3 wickets from the 1st innings and 2 from the 2nd.
Indian Players’ game time in England
The Indian team will be travelling to England in the latter half of this year and BCCI is now open to provide their players the required game time in the hosting nation itself. A list of Indian players is planned to play County cricket in this summer. The Names of Virat Kohli and Axar Patel was recently added to the already existing names of Ishant Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin and Cheteshwar Pujara.
This move by BCCI has opened the gate for Indian players to play and get customed to the English conditions.

What Happened?
With Kohli, Ashwin and Axar Patel joining the county teams once the IPL season gets over, Ishant Sharma is already there – played his debut county match for his team Sussex.
The Indian pacer has managed to perform at his best in the swinging conditions of the county, where he ended up picking a total of 5 wickets for his team.
Ishant’s bowling figures looked as 20.2-4-53-3 and 9-3-16-2 in both innings.
