The Indian duo of Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly own the record for the most 100+ partnerships in ODI cricket, having forged 26 century stands together.
Tendulkar and Ganguly have also scored the most partnership runs together in ODIs, accumulating 8227 runs in 176 innings.
21 of the 26 stands between Tendulkar and Ganguly came for the first wicket, the most by an opening pair in ODIs. Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma follow them with 18 hundred stands.
19 of the 20 partnerships shared between Sri Lanka’s Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara came for the second wicket, the most by a pair in this format.
For the third wicket, Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson forged the most partnerships, with both involved in 13 century stands for New Zealand.
