Likewise, Delhi Daredevils lost 11 consecutive matches in the 2014 and 2015 seasons. The Pune franchise had the lowest win percentage in the history of IPL.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) witnessed their worst IPL season in 2009, losing nine consecutive games.

Mumbai Indians have the record for a team’s worst losing streak from the start of a season. They lost their first eight games in the 2022 season. Before this, Delhi Daredevils (in 2013) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (in 2019) had six successive losses each from the start of the season.

Deccan Chargers (in 2008), Pune Warriors (in 2012 and 2013), and Delhi Daredevils (in 2013 and 2014) have the unwanted record of losing the most matches in an IPL season. The three teams lost 12 matches in those respective IPL seasons.

The Chargers and Daredevils managed to accumulate just four points in these IPL seasons, which is the lowest number of points accumulated by any team in an IPL season.
