The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a high-stakes T20 league in the world. So maintaining consistency in the IPL is important for a team.
Once a team wins a match, it boosts the team’s confidence, and they carry it in further matches. IPL teams try to win consecutive matches to get good momentum.
However, it’s not always possible to win matches in consecutive streaks. Only a few teams have maintained their winning streak for more than six matches.

Key Insights
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) find the first place on this list with a streak of 10 consecutive wins. KKR were almost on the verge of disqualification from the playoffs in 2014. But KKR, led by Gautam Gambhir, went on to win nine consecutive matches in that season and won the IPL 2014 title. They continued the streak by winning the first match of IPL 2015.
Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) won the last three IPL 2013 games and the first five of IPL 2014, played in the UAE. Winning the first five matches helped Punjab reach the final of IPL 2014.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Bengaluru) in 2011 and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2013 won seven consecutive matches each before getting a taste of loss in the final in those respective IPL seasons. RCB lost the 2011 final to CSK, while CSK lost the 2013 final to Mumbai Indians (MI).
