Milestones for T20I Innings Played Without a Duck

Marlon Samuels of the West Indies played the most innings (65) without ever getting out on a zero.

David Miller stands tall for playing the most consecutive innings without a duck (90 consecutive innings) from May 20, 2010, to August 5, 2022. This is also the most innings batted by a batter before his first duck in T20Is.

India’s former skipper, MS Dhoni, follows Miller with 84 consecutive innings without a duck. Dhoni scored his only duck on his T20I debut on December 1, 2006, which was also India’s first-ever T20I match.


Unwanted Streaks and Seasonal Records

Abdullah Shafique (Pakistan), Anas Khan (Hong Kong), Zafer Durmaz (Turkey), and Ouattara Djakaridja (Ivory Coast) have registered the most consecutive ducks in T20Is, with all four returning to the pavilion with zero runs in four consecutive innings.

Zappy Bimenyimana (Rwanda, 2023), Orchide Tuyisenge (Rwanda, 2023), and Saim Ayub (Pakistan, 2025) have recorded the most ducks in a calendar year in T20Is, scoring seven each in those respective years.
