Key Insights – Current ODI Hundred Leaders
Virat Kohli is the undisputed leader. And he will remain so for years or maybe even centuries to come. The Indian batter has scored 51 ODI hundreds, and is still counting.
Rohit Sharma is the other active batter with more than 30 hundreds in 50-over cricket. Sharma’s three ODI double centuries, though, are the most by any batter.
Babar Azam needs a couple of centuries to become the lead century-maker for Pakistan in ODIs.
Joe Root, meanwhile, recently became the top run-scorer for England. He also became the fifth-fastest to 7000 ODI runs along the way.
Root’s 18th century turned out to be his highest score in the format. He brought up an unbeaten 166 against the West Indies in the 2025 Cardiff ODI.
Shai Hope has scored the most centuries among the active wicketkeeper-batters in ODI cricket. Find where he stands in the overall WK lists.
Paul Stirling remains the top ODI century-maker for Ireland. He is also the only Irish batter with more than 5000 runs in this format.
