David Warner, in 2021 became the first player to score more than 1000 runs against Punjab Kings in IPL. While doing so, the Australian opener also became the first player to score 1000+ runs against two IPL sides.
Chris Gayle, who played briefly for the Punjab side during the end of his career, is the only batter to score two centuries against the Punjab-based franchise. However, Warner tops the count of 50+ scores against them.
