Key Insights: The Most Prolific 75 Consecutive Innings Ever in T20Is

Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan has established himself as the most prolific run-scorer in T20I cricket. Much like he dominated the 20 & 50 successive T20I runs aggregate lists, the wicket-keeper batter also leads the way when it comes to most runs in 75 consecutive T20I innings.

The batter scored a whopping 3,179 runs in 75 consecutive T20I innings (2018–2022). During the course of those 75 innings, Rizwan dominated the proceedings, averaging a jaw-dropping 54.81 while batting at a strike rate of 128.13.

In this period, Rizwan was the highest T20I run-scorer in 2021 and second-highest in 2022. In fact, Rizwan currently tops the T20 run charts for this decade (the 2020s).

The next on the highest run-scorers in 75 consecutive T20I outings is Virat Kohli of India. The former India skipper had scored 2938 runs in innings between 8 & 82. See how Virat rules the ODI record of the same sort.

The only other batter to have crossed the 2750 runs is Rizwan’s teammate, Babar Azam. In between innings 7 & 81, the right-hander had made 2863 at an average of 43.38, striking at 131.03.
