The Big Bash League tournament is back, and this time it will be a total of 61 matches, including one Eliminator, Qualifier, Knock-out, and Challenger. The big final will be held on the 4th of February, 2023. The venues for the post-league games will be decided later.
Matt Short (Adelaide Strikers) kick-started the campaign with the first half-century of the season against Sydney Sixers, and the Melbourne Stars’ Joe Clarke hit the tournament’s first century against Hobart Hurricanes.
