Centuries are special milestones for any individual batsman in cricket, especially in T20 internationals, where the batting time is limited, and opponent bowlers are world-class.
Chris Gayle scored the first international T20 century in the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007. Since then, there have been more than 100 centuries in the shortest format. New Zealand and India are the top contributors to the number, scoring 10+ centuries each.
