UAE’s Muhammad Waseem has smashed over 50 sixes in T20Is in 2023 and is leading the chart dominated mostly by associate nation players. Waseem has also hit close to 100 sixes in 2023 in ODIs and T20Is combined and is leading the list of most sixes in a calendar year in all formats.

When Waseem hit his 44th six this year, he broke his record of smashing 43 sixes in 2022. Now, he has smacked the most sixes by an associate batter in a single year in the 20-over format.

Close to 20 batters have slammed 20 or more sixes in T20Is in 2023, with only a handful of batters from full member nations being part of it.

Nepal’s Kushal Malla hit 12 sixes in his quickfire century against Mongolia, which is the most sixes in an innings this year. Malla also smashed the fastest hundred in the T20 International format.
