145: New Zealand’s Test skipper, Tim Southee, is the leading wicket-taker in T20I history. He has scalped over 145 wickets in 117 games at an astounding average of 23.42, with 2 five-wicket hauls to his credit.

1: The only pacer in both the top 10 list of ODI and T20I wicket-takers is former Sri Lankan T20 World Cup-winning skipper Lasith Malinga. He had a stunning average of 20.79 and an even more remarkable economy rate of 7.42, which makes him special.

2: Players from associate teams who have been featured here in this list are Bilal Khan of Oman and Karan KC of Nepal. Mark Adair represents another emerging team, Ireland, and has more than 100 T20I wickets.

72: Syazrul Ezat Idrus, the Malaysian medium pacer, is the quickest to scalp the 50-wicket mark in T20Is in 25 matches, while Adair was the quickest to reach the 100-wicket mark in 72 games.

2: Pakistan is the only team with 2 players on this list: former bowler Umar Gul and current white-ball specialist Haris Rauf, with the latter proving to be a speedster to be reckoned with.

13.45: Syazrul Ezat Idrus of Malaysia has the lowest average among pacers with more than 50 T20I wickets, and Bilal Haasun of Uganda closely follows him next with an average of 13.58, which is mind-blowing. Umar Gul, with 16.97, has the lowest average among the Test-playing nations.

11.4: Syazrul Ezat Idrus also has the lowest strike rate among the pacers, and Lungi Ngidi, with a strike rate of 13, has the lowest among full-member teams.
