2022 Stats: Most Wickets across All Formats (ODI+Test+T20I)

Scoring runs can give a team the much-needed advantage but picking up wickets win matches.

You cannot win a Test match without dismissing every batter in the opponent’s line-up twice. Even in the shorter formats, the bowlers always provide much-needed dominance in the game.

This article will list the top ten wicket-takers in 2022 in all formats of international cricket together.

Note: We decided to take out the Average, Strike Rate, and Economy Rate columns in the table, as they don’t make sense when it comes to the combination stats of all formats.

Zaker Taqawi of Sweden is the only bowler to pick 2 fifers in T20s this year, whereas Prabath Jayasuriya (Sri Lanka) and Bilal Khan (Oman) have 3 5-wicket hauls each in Tests and ODIs, respectively.

In Tests, England’s Jack Leach has so far bowled more than 100 maiden overs – the best in the format.

With World T20, World Test Championship, and ODI World Cup scheduled to happen within the next 6-8 months, the number of matches teams play has increased drastically, and we can see the names in the above table shift so often before the end of 2022.
