What makes life difficult for a batsman is Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin bowling in tandem in Indian conditions.
The pace at which Jadeja met his 200th Test wicket is only next to Ashwin among Indians and very few others worldwide. He has been the No.1 all-rounder in the longer format for a long time while I write this content.
This article will list the year-wise bowling performances of Ravindra Jadeja in Test cricket.

The years 2016 and 2017 have been the best in Jadeja’s career, where he has almost picked 97 wickets in those 24 months at an average of around 24.
His best bowling performance in a Test innings (in 2016) and the most 5-for in a calendar year (in 2017) also came in that period.
Jadeja is also upto becoming the fourth Indian bowler to pick a rare double-feat of 2500 runs and 250 wickets in Test cricket.
The Indian all-rounder went through a bad injury phase in the second half of 2022, even missed India’s 2022 T20 World Cup, and came back strong in 2023 with a 5-wicket haul against a touring Australian side.
