Rohit Sharma made his T20I debut in the same year of his ODI debut. The current Indian captain played his first T20I match in the 2007 T20 World Cup match against England in 2007.
Since then, he has been one of the vital performers for Team India. He has played more than 100 T20I matches and is the first Indian to do so.
Currently, he is the only batsman with four triple-digit scores in the format. He is also the only player to score three 200+ scores in ODI matches.

After WI, he has the most 50+ scores coming against New Zealand.
The successful Indian opener has T20 centuries against four nations – England, South Africa, West Indies and Sri Lanka. Three of them came in home conditions and another in England.
Rohit has a better average (36+) in multi-national tournaments like T20 World Cup & Asia Cup than in the bilateral series (30+). Especially in T20 WCs, he has an average of more than 38 and 8 50+ scores.
