Shubman Gill is slowly establishing himself as one of the most reliable batsmen in the Indian team, especially in the ODI format, thanks to his consistent performances over the past year. He is the leading scorer in the format in what is a World Cup year and has quickly risen to the top of the rankings, where he is only behind Babar Azam.
Gill, in the other formats, has had a decent record but is yet to reach the level of where he is in ODI cricket.
