Shubman Gill has been a revelation for India and the Gujarat Titans since the last few seasons, as he has turned out to be a run machine for both sides. 2023 saw Gill emerge as the top run-getter in international cricket across formats, with 7 centuries to his name post his stunning IPL season, where he hammered 890 runs at a staggering strike rate of 157.80 in 17 innings.
He made his IPL debut in 2018 for the Kolkata Knight Riders and batted at various batting positions for them. At times, Gill was inconsistent, as he managed to score 1417 runs in 55 innings at a paltry strike rate of 123 with just 10 half-centuries to his name.
