Top 5 Cricketers from Karnataka to Play in IPL

1. Rahul Dravid (RR)

Rahul Dravid has played in the IPL for 6 long years, in which he led the franchise of Rajasthan Royals for two IPL seasons. Rahul has played 89 matches in the Indian Premier League and made 2174 runs in it with a decent career average of 28.20. Rahul has also been the skipper of the Indian national team for a while; he has hit 11 fifties in his IPL career. Later, he retired from the Indian Premier League and all cricket formats in 2013. 

2. KL Rahul (LSG)

The newly-appointed skipper of the brand new franchise Lucknow Supergiants has played for the Karnataka state cricket team in his domestic days. He has been superb in his initial domestic days, which bought him in the IPL in 2015. A month ago, he declared a new deputy skipper for Rohit Sharma in white-ball format. 3. Mayank Agrawal (PBKS)

Mayank Agrawal has been seen as the best name after KL Rahul for these days’ opening position. He was also leading the franchise of Punjab Kings and made his debut for the Indian team in 2018. He has played 103 matches in the IPL from 2011 and made 1488 runs in his career. He has scored his maiden IPL century against Rajasthan Royals in the year 2020, and from there, he has won the confidence of the management of Punjab Kings. 

4. Prasidh Krishna (RR)

Prasidh Krishna, the emerging pacer from Karnataka, is doing wonders for the Indian team and his new franchise Rajasthan Royals. He has been picked by RR at the price of 10 crores in the mega IPL auction of 2022. He has been given the player of the series award with nine wickets in just three matches against the West Indies that happened before the auction. He has played 36 matches in IPL since 2018 and picked up 33 wickets in it. 

5. Anil Kumble (RCB)

Anil Kumble has led his home franchise of Royal Challengers Bangalore for the first three seasons of the Indian Premier League. He has played 45 games for Bangalore and picked up 45 wickets in it with one of the best career economies of 6.57. He got retired in 2010 from all sorts of formats of cricket and later joined many franchises in IPL to cater to coaching services.
