The kingpin Jasprit Bumrah had a lookout for world’s best bowler in current times in all formats. He debuted in the Indian Premier League in 2013 at just 20. Now he has been recognised as one of the great bowlers in the history of world cricket. Jasprit had played 106 matches and picked up 130 wickets in it. He was the guy the next generation of India will look at as an ideal of fast bowling in India after the great Kapil Dev. The year 2016 was a fabulous year for him where he had auditioned for India in the limited-overs format and got selected for the T20 World cup 2016.
He has been outstanding with the ball in the IPL, and similarly, like Lasith Malinga, Yorker deliveries are the ace of his bowling. He had been very economical in his spells from the beginning, even no one would remember at this point of time about his highly run conceding spell in any format. He has bowled many victorious overs in the Indian Premier League, but here are his top 5 spells that are among the best.
#1 4/14 MI vs DC in 2020
In a second encounter of the season against Delhi Capitals, Jasprit Bumrah had bowled a match-winning spell of 4/14 in his 4 over quota. He picked up prime wickets of the skipper Shreyas Iyer, Marcus Stoinis and scratched the stumps of Shikhar Dhawan. Batting first, Mumbai Indians scored 200/5 on the board, and when DC came to chase, they got rattled on 143/8, and MI won the game by 57 runs.
#2 4/20 MI vs RR in 2020
Rajasthan Royals had witnessed the horrific defeat against Mumbai Indians in the league phase of IPL 2020. Mumbai opted to bat first against the mediocre bowling of the Rajasthan Royals. Mumbai Indians posted a massive score of 193/4 with the help of SKY’s knock of 79(47). But Rajasthan couldn’t get a chance of even a fightback, as Jasprit Bumrah reaped through their hatting line-up and clinched up a 4-wicket haul by leaking just 20 runs in the spell. And at the end delivered a fantastic win for his team by 57 runs.

He also became a man of the match and made the team victorious in the encounter.
#4 3/7 MI vs KKR in 2017
Jasprit Bumrah had bowled a phonetic spell of 3/7 against Kolkata Knight Riders in a nail-biting Qualifier No. 2. Gautam Gambhir leading KKR had bowled out on a poor 107/10. Where Bumrah takes the key wickets of Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa and Suryakumar Yadav, he was the guy along with Karn Sharma who restricted the line-up of Kolkata Knight Riders at a mediocre total and later chased down it with 6 wickets to spare in the hands. Though Karn got a player of the match award for his 4/16, Bumrah broke the crucial partnerships which restricted KKR.
