Key Insights on Virat Kohli’s ODI Performance Across Different Countries

Domination in Home Conditions (India)

Virat Kohli’s 6300-plus runs in India are the second-most by a batter at home in ODIs, behind Sachin Tendulkar’s 6976.

His average of around 60 in India is the highest for a batter who has scored more than 3000 runs at home in ODIs.

Kohli is one of the two batters, along with Tendulkar (20 hundreds & 38 half-centuries), to smash more than 20 centuries and more than 55 fifty-plus scores on home soil in ODIs.

Kohli is just the second batter after Tendulkar (811) to hammer 600-plus fours at home in ODIs.

The right-hander has aggregated 5000-plus of his runs in India at No. 3, the most by a batter in that position in ODIs. In fact, he is the only one to cross the mark.
