Top Batting Milestones and Century Makers in BBL 2023/24
Matthew Short was the leading run-getter in the 2023/24 edition of the Big Bash League. The opener representing the Adelaide Strikers scored a whopping 541 runs in just 11 innings and was rightly adjudged the player of the tournament along with his Golden Bat.
The run-gap between the first and second-placed batter is too high, as Josh Brown (Brisbane Heat, the title-winners), the next most prolific scorer in the season, ended his tourney with 366 runs in 9 outings.
