Ken Barrington has the highest batting average away from home in Tests among the batters with a minimum of 3000 runs. Barrington averaged an astounding 69.18 with the bat on away tours, scoring 3459 runs in 58 innings.

Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for scoring the most runs away from home in the Test format. The Indian batting maestro garnered 8705 runs in 176 innings at an impressive average of 54.74.

Steve Waugh batted in 120 innings in away Tests and remained unbeaten in 26 of those innings. This is the most not out innings registered by any batter in away from home Tests.

Sachin Tendulkar is the only batter who has played in more than 100 away from home Tests. The Mumbai batter represented India in 106 away Tests between 1989 and 2012.
