Tim Southee (New Zealand) holds the record for the most maximums conceded by a fast bowler, giving away 142 sixes across 123 innings.
Yuzvendra Chahal , one of India’s leading T20I wicket-taker, has conceded 1.63 sixes per innings, the highest rate among bowlers who have allowed over 100 maximums. In total, he has been hit for 129 sixes in 79 innings.
Ish Sodhi stands as the sole bowler to have conceded 100-plus sixes in home conditions (New Zealand) in T20Is.
Akila Dananjaya (Sri Lanka) and Musa Jobarteh (Gambia) share the record for the most sixes conceded in a single innings. They were each hit for eight maximums against the West Indies (2021) and Zimbabwe (2024), respectively.
Notably, Dananjaya conceded six of his eight sixes in a single over against West Indies’ Kieron Pollard during the 2021 Antigua T20I.
