As we all know, the 9th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup is set to take place in 2024, and as a result, this calendar year will see T20I cricket being played to a large extent. These games will act as a means of preparation for the team and can be seen as the precursor to T20 cricket’s marquee event.

T20 is a game of boundaries and sixes, and this is how batsmen score the bulk of their runs in this format. Since this is a World Cup year, we can expect records to be created or broken by the players in this unpredictable format of the game.

One thing that keeps on changing till the end of this year will be the number of runs scored, and here is a list that contains the top 10 run-getters in the T20I format for the year 2024.
