Austria’s Karanbir Singh has hit the most sixes in a calendar year in T20I cricket, sending down 122 maximums in 32 innings in 2025. The Austrian all-rounder hit roughly 3.81 sixes per innings.

Karanbir complemented his six-hitting with 127 fours, the most by a batter in a calendar year in this format.

Karanbir has also scored the most runs in a year in T20Is, aggregating 1488 runs at a strike rate of 174.85 in 2025.

47 of Karanbir’s sixes came in Austria, the most by a batter at home in a calendar year in T20Is. 

And his other 75 maximums came outside Austria, the most by a batter in a year in away T20Is.

UAE’s Muhammad Waseem is the only batter to score 50-plus sixes in two calendar years in T20Is. He hit 54 maximums in 2023 and followed it with 55 in 2024.

Waseem and Nicholas Pooran (West Indies) have smashed 30 or more sixes in three calendar years in T20Is. Waseem achieved this feat in three consecutive years, from 2022 to 2024.
