Adam Gilchrist has taken the most catches as a wicketkeeper in ODIs. He pouched 417 catches in 281 innings for Australia.
Kumar Sangakkara has made the most dismissals as a wicketkeeper in ODIs, with 383 catches and 99 stumpings aggregating to 482 dismissals.
AB de Villiers has the best catches per innings ratio as a wicketkeeper in ODIs, having taken approximately 1.559 catches in his career. He grabbed 92 catches in 59 innings.

Mark Boucher took 204 of his 402 catches in South Africa, the most by a wicketkeeper at home in ODIs. 197 of those grabs were for South Africa, with seven for Africa XI.
Bangladesh’s Mushfiqur Rahim has taken the most catches as a wicketkeeper at a single venue in ODIs. He grabbed 68 catches in 89 innings at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.
No other wicketkeeper has taken more than 180 catches at home in this format.
Gilchrist meanwhile, held onto 141 of his 417 catches in away ODIs, the most by a keeper in these conditions.
MS Dhoni (126), Sangakkara (122) and Boucher (116) are the other keepers with 100-plus catches in away ODIs.

Gilchrist plucked 73 of his catches against India, the most by a keeper against a team in ODIs.

Adam is the only wicketkeeper to grab 50 or more catches against four teams in ODIs. Apart from India, he had 60 catches each against England and South Africa, followed by 56 against New Zealand.
Gilchrist is the only wicketkeeper to hold onto six catches each in four ODI innings.
Gilchrist took 50 or more catches in three years, the only keeper to do so, with 2002 (50) and 2003 (53) being the other years.
Gilchrist has also grabbed the most catches as a keeper in the ODI World Cup, having taken 45 in 31 encounters.
Adam and Boucher share the record for the most catches as a wicketkeeper in a calendar year in ODIs. Gilly pouched 56 catches in 1999, while Mark levelled the record in 2000.
