Yuvraj Singh retires from all forms of Cricket – Twitter Reacts

Indian all-rounder and 2-times ICC World Cup finalist – Yuvraj Singh has announced his retirement from all forms of Cricket.

Yuvraj Singh’s career has been a roller-coaster ride with many highs and lows throughout his career, spanning close to 19 years and 400 matches.

Yuvraj has scored a total of 11,178 Runs in 402 Matches with 17 100s & 71 50s across all formats!

Here are few unique records of Yuvraj’s cricketing career.

• Yuvraj Singh is the only player to win the World Cup, T20 World Cup, U-19 World Cup, Champions Trophy and IPL trophy (twice).
• He has scored 50+ in the knock-out rounds of all these World Cups.
• He holds the record for the fastest ever International 50, in 12 balls in ICC WT20, 2007.
• He is the first all-rounder to score 300 runs & pick 15 wickets in a single World Cup in 2011, in which he was named the Man of the Tournament.

Also, Yuvraj Singh will be remembered for the following events by the world of Cricket forever:

1. Won Man of the Match in his 1st ODI innings
2. Partnership with Mohammed Kaif in the Natwest Series Final in Lords
3. Six Sixes in 2007 WC against Stuart Broad.
4. Man of the Series performance in WC 2011 while fighting cancer.
