11 of the 12 sixes struck by the Netherlands’ Stephan Myburgh came in a single edition, which is the most by a batter. The Dutch batter hit 11 maximums in seven innings in the 2014 T20 World Cup. Quinton de Kock is the other batter to slam 10+ sixes the powerplay in a single World Cup iteration.

Six of those 11 sixes came in an innings against Ireland. Myburgh scored 57 runs – the highest score in powerplay by a batter – off 21 balls, including six sixes.
