Tanzania’s Yalinde Nkanya has recorded the lowest bowling average in a calendar year in T20Is. He averaged 8.60 while taking 45 wickets in 26 innings in 2022.

Ramjani is the other bowler to average less than nine in a year in T20Is, having taken 55 wickets at 8.98 in 30 innings in 2023.

Bangladesh’s Mashrafe Mortaza has the worst bowling average as a captain in T20Is. He averaged 36.35 while picking up 20 wickets in 27 innings.
