George Munsey has recorded the highest individual score by an associate nation batter in ODI cricket. He brought up 191 against the Netherlands in 2025.

Max O’Dowd has registered the highest ODI score by an associate batter in a successful run chase. His unbeaten 158 helped the Netherlands counter Munsey’s 191 and Scotland’s 369.
Calum MacLeod, meanwhile, has the highest score among associate batters in an ODI win. He smashed 175 against Canada to push Scotland’s total to 341, which they defended by 170 runs in 2014. Find out here who holds the overall record for the most runs scored by a batter in a winning ODI match.
MacLeod has also brought up the highest score by an associate batter against a full member team in ODIs. He scored an unbeaten 157 in a successful run chase of 256 against Afghanistan in the World Cup Qualifier in 2018. His knock consisted of 23 fours, the most by an associate batter in an ODI innings.
MacLeod is the only associate batter to bring up three 150-plus scores in ODIs. And all of his scores ended up in wins for Scotland. The Scottish batter is also the only associate batter to score 10 ODI hundreds, with eight of them coming in victories.
Jaskaran Malhotra hammered 16 sixes in his unbeaten 173 against Papua New Guinea in 2021. This is the most sixes by an associate batter in an ODI innings. Check where this stands in the overall record chart.
Malhotra smashed six of those sixes in a single over, the first associate and overall, the second batter to do so in ODIs.
Asif Khan’s strike rate of 240.47 is the highest by an associate batter in an ODI innings (minimum 100 runs). The UAE batter racked up an unbroken 101 off 42 balls against Nepal in 2023. Asif has, in fact, smashed the fastest ODI century among associate batters, as he attained the 100 mark in 41 deliveries.
