Karanbir’s record fifty-plus scores powered his run tally to 1488, the most by a batter in a calendar year in T20Is. His run tally included 127 fours and 122 sixes, which are again the most in a year.
Sanju Samson has scored the most centuries in a year in T20Is, getting past the mark three times for India in 2024.
