For a batter who gets a shorter time on the field in a T20I game, scoring 80-plus is almost equivalent to a century. Many useful 80-plus scores in the T20Is have won games for teams.
Especially for someone who bats down the order, there are not many balls to face or a target to accumulate a big score. When you see the T20I century lists by teams, you can see that the major contributors to the three-digit scores are mostly openers.
This article will pay tribute to batters who almost made it to the century score but fell short by a little, the most number of times. Here are the batters with the most 80+ scores in T20I cricket.
