Maharashtra’s Ankit Bawne has scored the most centuries in Vijay Hazare Trophy history, with 15 knocks to his name.

Ankit Bawne also holds the record for the most runs in the tournament’s history with 4,000+ runs.

N Jagadeesan and Karun Nair have scored the most centuries in a single Vijay Hazare Trophy season. Jagadeesan struck five hundreds for Tamil Nadu in the 2022/23 season, while Nair levelled the record for Vidarbha in the 2024/25 season.

Jagadeesan’s five centuries in 2022/23 powered his run tally to 830, the most runs by a batter in a single Vijay Hazare Trophy season.

Yashpal Singh scored four of his 10 centuries against Himachal Pradesh, the most by a batter against a team in the tournament.

Karn Kaushal was the first batter to smash a double hundred in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, having struck 202 for Uttarakhand against Sikkim in 2018.

N Jagadeesan’s 277 against Arunachal Pradesh in 2022 is the highest individual score by a batter in VHT and men’s List A cricket.

Ruturaj Gaikwad’s unbeaten 220 is the highest individual score by a captain in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Gaikwad’s century knock also included 16 sixes, the most by a batter in a single innings in VHT.

Swastik Samal’s 212 is the highest score in VHT and the second-highest in men’s List A cricket in a losing cause.


Fastest Hundreds and Youngest Centurions in Men’s List A Cricket

Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest batter to score a century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, hammering 190 off 84 balls for Bihar against Arunachal Pradesh at the age of 14 years and 272 days in the 2025/26 season. This also made him the youngest centurion in men’s List A cricket.

Suryavanshi took 59 balls to reach the 150-run mark, making him the fastest to score 150 in VHT and men’s List A cricket.

The fastest century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy belongs to Sakibul Gani, who needed just 32 deliveries to reach triple digits for Bihar against Arunachal Pradesh.

Ishan Kishan has recorded the highest strike rate for a 100-plus run knock in the tournament, striking at 320.51 while scoring 125 from 39 balls for Jharkhand against Karnataka in the 2025/26 season.


Unprecedented Team Totals and Scoring Feats

Bihar set a world record by scoring 574 for 6 against Arunachal Pradesh in 2025, the highest-ever team total in men’s List A cricket.

N Jagadeesan’s knock helped Tamil Nadu reach 506 for 2 in 2022, which now stands as the second-highest team total in VHT and men’s List A cricket.

In the match where Bihar scored 574, three batters (Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Sakibul Gani, and Ayush Loharuka) scored centuries in the same innings, a first for the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
