AB de Villiers-Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle-Virat Kohli have stitched together the most fifty-plus partnerships in the IPL. Both pairs built 21 stands each.

ABD and Kohli also have the most century stands in the IPL, with 10 partnerships between them.

The RCB pair have also scored the most partnership runs in the league, with 3123 runs between them across 76 innings.

The duo have recorded the highest partnership in an IPL innings, when they aggregated 229 runs for the second wicket for RCB against Gujarat Lions in 2016.

ABD-Kohli also have the joint-most double century stands, along with Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill, in the IPL.

Gayle-Kohli and Sudharsan-Gill are the two pairs with 10 or more fifty-plus stands in home IPL matches.

ABD and Kohli, meanwhile, have scored the most fifty-plus partnerships in away IPL games, with 12 stands between them.

Faf du Plessis and Kohli recorded eight partnerships of 50 or more runs in the 2023 season for RCB, the most by a pair in an IPL edition.

Gayle-Kohli and Ishan Kishan-Rohit Sharma scored three or more fifty-plus run partnerships against four opponent teams each in the IPL.

Gautam Gambhir-Robin Uthappa and Gayle-Kohli stitched nine fifty-plus partnerships in successful chases, the joint-most by a pair in the IPL.

Overall, Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul have the most fifty-plus stands in run chases, with 11 partnerships between them.

MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja are the only pair to score more than 10 partnerships of 50 or more runs for the fourth or lower wicket in the IPL.

18 of the 20 fifty-plus stands between Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner came for the first wicket, the most by an opening pair in the IPL.
