We tend to see a lot of maidens in Tests as opposed to the other shorter formats like ODIs or T20Is. This is because, in Tests, batsmen usually take a great deal of time to get settled and more often look to play a long innings.
As the format shortens, maiden overs become a rarity. At least in ODIs, there is a possibility of seeing one or two maiden overs per innings. (Check out which bowler has the most maidens in ODI cricket.)
But as the format truncates further, maiden overs become like gold dust. Yes, we are talking about T20Is, wherein even a dot ball or a string of dots is in itself a significant achievement for a bowler, let alone a maiden over.
But some bowlers have achieved maidens on more than one occasion. So here is the list of the top 10 bowlers with the most maiden overs in T20Is.
