India’s batting might is well known in world cricket, with stars like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma leading the way. Since the start of 2020, these two batters have been the top run-getters for India across formats.

New-age batters like Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal are also showcasing their mettle, scoring runs in a consistent manner. As India is going through a transition phase, we will see many new faces joining these batters on the run-scoring list in the upcoming years.

KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli are the only three Indian batters who have accumulated 1,000+ runs in all three formats of international cricket since the start of 2020.

Shubman Gill, Kohli, and Sharma are the only three Indian batters who have smashed 10 or more centuries for the team since 2020 across all formats.

Among batters with 1,000+ runs since 2020, Kohli, Gill, Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shreyas Iyer are averaging above 40 across all formats.

Suryakumar Yadav is the only Indian batter to have scored 2,500+ runs in T20Is since 2020.

Rishabh Pant, Sharma, Kohli, Gill, and Jaiswal have amassed 1,500+ Test runs since the turn of this decade. Among the batters with 1,000+ Test runs in this period, Jaiswal is the only one averaging above 50.
