India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar has the most runs as a No. 9 batter, tallying 247 runs in 10 innings on the 2014 England tour. His tally included three fifty-plus scores, the most in that position.

Ben Stokes has struck the highest score by a No. 6 or lower batter in an away Test. He smashed 258 off 198 balls against South Africa in the 2016 Cape Town Test. This is also the second–highest score by a No. 6 or lower Test batter.
