Younis’ batting average of 52.05 is the third-highest for Pakistan. Javed Miandad has the highest average (52.57, minimum 1000 runs), followed by Mohammad Yousuf (52.29).

Younis crossed the 10,000-run mark in 208 innings, making him the fifth-fastest batter to reach this milestone in Test history. He is among the 15 batters worldwide who are part of the 10,000-run club.

Miandad is the fastest Pakistani batter to score 2000, 3000, 4000, and 8000 Test runs. Younis is the quickest to 5000 and 9000 runs, while Yousuf is the fastest to 6000 and 7000 Test runs.

5,717 of Younis’ runs came outside Pakistan and the UAE, the most by a Pakistani batter in away Tests. Inzamam-ul-Haq is the only other Pakistani batter with over 5000 Test runs in away conditions.

4,481 of Miandad’s 8,832 runs came at home, the most among Pakistani batters.

4,910 of Younis’ runs came in 46 Test victories, the highest for a Pakistani batter. He also leads the run chart in losses, with 2,895 runs in 89 innings across 45 Tests.

Misbah-ul-Haq has scored the most Test runs as a captain for Pakistan, with 4,214 runs in 56 Tests.

Six of Younis’ 30 hundreds were double centuries, the joint-most for Pakistan in Tests, a record he shares with Miandad.

Hanif Mohammad holds the highest individual score for Pakistan in Tests with 337 runs against the West Indies in the 1958 Bridgetown Test. It is one of the longest Test innings played unofficially.

Inzamam (329 vs NZ), Younis (313 vs SL), and Azhar Ali (302* vs WI) are the other triple centurions for Pakistan.
