Pakistan’s prolific all-rounder Shahid Afridi became the first player to achieve the double of 1000 runs and 50 wickets in the T20I format. Afridi also features in the list of players with over 5000 runs and 500 wickets across all formats.

The UAE’s Rohan Mustafa became the first associate player to score 1000 runs and take 50 wickets in T20Is, achieving the feat in 2023.


Record-Breaking Captains and Performance Leaders

Namibia’s Gerhard Erasmus and Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza are the two captains to aggregate 1000 runs and grab 50 wickets in T20Is.

Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Nabi, Virandeep Singh, Sikandar Raza, and Hardik Pandya are the five players to score 2000-plus runs and pick up 100-plus wickets in the shortest format. This makes them some of the greatest all-rounders in the game’s history.

Virandeep Singh is the only all-rounder to achieve the double of 3000 runs and 100 wickets in T20I cricket.

Shakib Al Hasan and Dinesh Nakrani (Uganda) are the two players on this list to have two or more five-wicket hauls in the 20-over format.

Virandeep Singh has the lowest bowling average and economy rate among the bowlers on this list, with his average around 14 and economy rate around 5.5.

Andre Russell has the highest batting strike rate among all the above all-rounders. He scored 1122 runs at a strike rate of 163.79.

Mohammad Nabi, Hardik Pandya, and Sikandar Raza are the three players with the treble of 2000 runs, 100 wickets, and 50 catches in T20Is.
