Top 5 Batting Performances of Kane Williamson in IPL

Kane ‘Consistent’ Williamson is one of those rare players who have extravagant consistency in the gameplay. The year of IPL 2018 was Kane Williamson’s year, where he ended up the season wearing the orange cap. Kane is renowned in world cricket for his class and consistency, which he brings to the table at every crucial point. He made his first appearance in the IPL 2015, where Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him for a hefty amount. He was the lone guy in SRH who was with them for a long period of 7 years.

However, David Warner helped SRH clinch their very 1st title in the IPL. But Kane had also brought the team to the verge of winning in the grand finale of 2018. But he was again replaced by David Warner in the very next season. Kane had played 63 matches in IPL, scoring 1885 runs with a proven average of 40.1. Now, he has been given the full-time captaincy for this season and all the privileges of running the team.

Let’s take a look at his top 5 knocks across all IPL seasons.

This had been made with the help of thundering knocks from Kane Williamson’s 89 runs in 51 balls and 70(50) of Shikhar Dhawan. Kane had struck 6 fours and 5 sixes later; DC came out to chase the target but fell short by 15 runs and handed over the victory to Sunrisers Hyderabad.
